  • Designed for welders working on construction sites with a “No Hoodie Policy”. Perfect for gouging, pile capping, and big inch pipeline.
  • It has been totally redesigned from the ground up from our previous model. We have decreased the weight of this sweater by only using leather in the arms, and switching over to carbon x on the collar, chest, and rear shoulder. We have increased the size of the front chest panel for better protection against sparks, hidden all stitching on the front chest and rear shoulder panels to aid in longevity of the garment, and given the shoulders and elbows more room to help with mobility.
  • The body of the sweater is constructed with North American WESTEX FR fleece.
  • The sleeves are made up of environmentally conscious leather from a world class leader in both green initiatives and hide tanning. The quality of this leather will help keep your range of motion on the cold winter days. They are lined with fleece for comfort
  • Other high wear areas like the collar, upper chest, and rear shoulder utilize Carbon X material to help protect from burns and prolong the life of your garment.
  • Carbon X Repel is significantly lighter then leather. Its lighter weight increases comfort and decrease’s the amount of muscle exertion that builds up over the course of a work shift.
  • Carbon X Repel sheds molten metal, certain chemicals, flammable liquids, and other molten substances while providing extraordinary protection against extreme heat and direct flame.
  • Sparks and spatter simply roll off the material.
  • Minimalist design to prevent snagging.
  • Heavy duty FR and Kevlar thread is used to tolerate the abuse these garments endure.
  • Left and right hand versions available.
